This two-day course introduces the features of PeopleTools 8.44. You learn about the PeopleSoft Internet Architecture infrastructure, the PeopleTools that you access using the PeopleSoft Application Designer and that you access using a web browser.

You learn to access data using PeopleSoft portal technology, describe the layers of PeopleSoft Internet Architecture, demonstrate methods of data validation in PeopleSoft applications, evaluate the features and benefits of the PeopleTools accessed in the PeopleSoft Application Designer, and evaluate the features and uses of the PeopleTools accessed in the browser.

PeopleTools I Rel 8.48 introduces the PeopleSoft methodology of application development. This five-day course provides a general description of PeopleSoft’s system architecture and the tool set used to develop new or customize existing PeopleSoft applications. Students receive hands-on experience with the PeopleSoft Application Designer to create and modify PeopleSoft definitions such as fields, records, pages, and components.By the end of this course you will be able to create and deploy an internet application.

PeopleTools II Rel 8.48 expands on the skills acquired in PeopleTools I. In this five-day course, students gain advanced development and troubleshooting experience as they create applications that incorporate complex features such as views, multiple occurs levels, tableset sharing, subrecords, subpages, links, and PeopleCode.

The PeopleTools I Rel 8.50 portion of the course introduces the PeopleSoft application development methodology. This part of the course provides a general description of PeopleSoft system architecture and the tool set used to develop new or customize existing PeopleSoft applications.

The PeopleTools II Rel 8.50 portion of the course expands on the skills acquired in PeopleTools I. In this part of the course, students gain advanced development and troubleshooting experience as they create applications that incorporate complex features such as views, multiple occurs levels, tableset sharing, ubrecords, subpages, links, style sheets, and PeopleCode.

PeopleCode Rel 8.50 is integrated into every aspect of PeopleSoft applications. This five-day course gives participants the essential tools to work with object-oriented PeopleCode. Participants actively build programming skills in a PeopleSoft environment. The tools and skills learned in this course provide the participants with the structure of PeopleCode and prepare them to move on to more advanced applications.
